UNIVERSITÄT INNSBRUCK 2018

Das wichtigste Thema für diesen Entwurf ist, das vielfältige Leben der Benutzer dieses grossen Gebäudes um und mit einem Leer-Raum zu vereinen und zu verbinden. Dieser grosse Innenraum wird in Ergänzung zu den kleinteiligen Einzelräumen, zu einem gemeinsamen Wohnraum im städtebaulichen Masstab. In diesem Haus sind wahrscheinlich öfters über tausend Personen. Viele sind in den „öffentlichen“ Bereichen, wie in den Vortragssälen, in der Mensa oder in der Bibliothek aber noch viele mehr und zeitlich länger, arbeiten alleine mit ihren Büchern in kleinen Zimmern und deshalb wird es sehr wichtig, dass diese Studenten und Forscher nicht über einen einsamen labyrinthischen Gang das Gebäude verlassen müssen. In diesem Haus gibt es keine Gänge. Vom eigenen abgeschlossenen Büro kommt man direkt in einen „öffentlichen“ Raum wo man sämtliche Geschosse übersehen kann und wo man notgezwungen Kollegen treffen muss, die an etwas ganz anderem arbeiten und wahrscheinlich auch wohltuend anders denken.

COMPETITION FOR A NEW TEACHING AND OFFICE BUILDING INNRAIN 52 UNIVERSITY OF INNSBRUCK 2018.

The main theme for this design is to unite and connect the diverse lives of the users of this large building around and with an empty space. This large interior space, in addition to the small-scale individual spaces, becomes a shared living space on an urban scale. There are probably more than a thousand people in this house more often than not. Many are in the "public" areas, such as the lecture halls, the refectory or the library, but many more and for longer periods of time are working alone with their books in small rooms, and it therefore becomes very important that these students and researchers do not have to leave the building via a lonely labyrinthine corridor. There are no corridors in this building. From one's own closed office, one comes directly into a "public" space where one can overlook all the floors and where one is forced to meet colleagues who are working on something completely different and probably also think in a pleasantly different way.

CONCORSO PER UN NUOVO EDIFICIO PER L'INSEGNAMENTO E PER UFFICI, INNRAIN UNIVERSITÀ DI INNSBRUCK 2018.

Il tema principale di questo progetto è quello di unire e collegare la vita diversa degli utenti di questo grande edificio intorno e con uno spazio vuoto. Questo grande spazio interno, oltre ai piccoli spazi individuali, diventa uno spazio di vita comune su scala urbana. Ci sono probabilmente più di mille persone in questa casa il più delle volte. Molti sono nelle aree "pubbliche", come nelle aule, nel refettorio o nella biblioteca, ma molti di più e per periodi più lunghi, lavorano da soli con i loro libri in piccole stanze e quindi diventa molto importante che questi studenti e ricercatori non debbano lasciare l'edificio attraverso un labirintico corridoio solitario. Non ci sono corridoi in questo edificio. Dal proprio ufficio chiuso, si arriva direttamente in uno spazio "pubblico" dove ci si può affacciare su tutti i piani e dove si è costretti a incontrare colleghi che stanno lavorando su qualcosa di completamente diverso e che probabilmente pensano anche in modo piacevolmente diverso.
